Admissions

If you are considering sending your children to Drayton Park School we always welcome visits from parents and children. This is the best way to get a feel for the school and to see how we work first hand.  Please ring the school office on 01908 375137 to make an appointment.

Admissions to our school are co-ordinated by Milton Keynes council.

Further information is available by clicking the following  https://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/schools-and-lifelong-learning/school-admissions .

Most children live within the catchment area, which is the northern part of the Lakes Estate, including Stoke Road south from Plough Corner and the southern boundary being a line from Stoke Road through the Warren playground, Sir Herbert Leon School and Drayton Road.  However, we welcome children from outside this area providing there are spaces within the year group.

Applying for a school place

If you are looking for a place at our school nursery, a part time place is offered to children at the beginning of the academic year in which they become 4 i.e the September after their third birthday.

Additionally we take 3 year olds in January if their birthdays fall between September and December the previous year.  Please see below for the application form to our nursery.

A full time school place is offered at the beginning of the academic year in which your child becomes 5 years old.

You will need to register with Milton Keynes Council in order to make your first application for full time school via the following link. Additionally if you are looking to do an in year transfer, the details again are found here https://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/schools-and-lifelong-learning/school-admissions .
